PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably insert plugs in test tubes. SOLUTION: A rack is positioned to a receiving location C1, and the plugs are each inserted in the test tubes housed in the rack. To be concrete, the plugs are inserted in the test tubes by a manipulator 42, and further temporarily pressed down. The plugs are each fully pressed down to the test tubes by a plugging part 36, and reliable plugging is achieved by this.
