FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology. SUBSTANCE: one should carry out spectrometric analysis of hair and nails to determine deficiency of chromium, magnesium, zinc, selenium calcium microelements and availability of aluminum and lead metals. Then it is necessary to conduct individual correction of this deficiency with monominerals of the above-mentioned microelements and curative nutrition, and removal of toxic metals with "Bioprotect" preparation. Simultaneously, one should carry out sugar-decreasing therapy, introduce the following preparations: vanadyl- sulfate, lipoic and folic acids, inositol, nicotinamide, lysine, taurine, biotin, coenzyme Q-10 and extracts of medicinal herbs. The present method enables to increase efficiency of therapy due to normalization of total body state. EFFECT: improved results of therapy.
