LAMINATE HAVING COLOR AND METALLIC GLOSS AND METHOD FOR PRODUCTION THEREOF

A method for producing a laminate having a color and a metallic gloss,which comprises incorporating a colored dyestuff such as a heterocyclic,perinone or thioindigo dyestuff into an ABS resin though mixing and kneading,followed by pelletizing,and then subjecting the resulting pellets to extrusion molding to form a unbonded first resin layer and simultanuously bonding,through heating and pressing,a unbonded second resin layer which has a metal film layer formed by the vapor deposition of the metal and thus exhibits a metallic gloss to the unbonded first resin layer,thereby coloring the second resin layer to the extent that it has the color difference valueΔdefined in the specification of 0.8 or more,by the transfer of a dyestuff in the unbonded first resin layer to the second resin layer,to prepare a laminate exhibiting a colored metallic gloss on the second resin layer's side.
