PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a polyimide film composition capable of improving the adhesion of a polyimide resin layer to a metallic layer and to provide a polyimide film composition obtained by the method, an endless belt, a fixing belt and an electrophotographic photoreceptor. SOLUTION: In the method for producing a polyimide film composition, a polyimide precursor solution is applied to the surface of a substrate and dried or half-cured to form a polyimide precursor resin layer, a metallic layer is formed on the surface of the polyimide precursor resin layer and the polyimide precursor resin layer is heat-cured after or during the formation of the metallic layer to form a polyimide resin layer.
