PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrifying device capable of electrifying a body to be electrified by being arranged proximately to the body to be electrified which moves relatively to a prescribed moving direction and to improve the electrification evenness as to an image forming apparatus which is provided with such an electrifying device. SOLUTION: This electrifying device is provided with a resistive element 22 whose resistance value is changed in the moving direction and an electricity feeding electrode feeding electricity to the resistive element.
