ANTI-AGING COSMETIC COMPOSITION CONTAINING JUNIPERUS CHINENSIS L. EXTRACT AS MAJOR ACTIVE COMPONENT

PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing an extract of Juniperus chinensis L. which has an antioxidant effect, collagen synthesis promoting effect and skin fine wrinkles improving effect is provided which has an effect on alleviating skin irritation caused by a cosmetic base. CONSTITUTION: Juniperus chinensis L. is extracted at room temperature in one or more solvents selected from purified water, methanol, ethanol, glycerin, ethyl acetate, butylene glycol, propylene glycol, dichloromethane and hexane, filtered and concentrated under reduced pressure or freeze-dried. The anti-aging cosmetic composition contains 0.001 to 30.0% by weight of the Juniperus chinensis L. extract, based on the total weight of the composition.
