PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical film having excellent transparency and capable of proper correction of color tones, having excellent productivity, tone correcting ability and self repairing performance. SOLUTION: The optical film 1 has a tone correcting layer (A) which is essentially made of thermoplastic resin soluble with a solvent and contains a dye having tone correcting ability, and a transparent resin layer (B) which is formed on at least one surface of the layer (A) and has self repairing ability and UV absorbing property. The refractive index of the tone correcting layer (A) is substantially equal to the refractive index of the transparent resin layer (B). Preferably an antireflection layer (C) made of a noncrystalline fluorine- containing polymer is formed on the surface of the transparent resin layer (B). |
