<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing measurement data on traveling road surface profiles for efficiently managing a section in which traveling road surface displacement of the same wavelength repeats. <P>SOLUTION: A measured waveform f(x) of displacement in the traveling road surface at point x is determined. If a sine wave of wave length λ repeatedly appears in the measured waveform f(x), F(x) is calculated using the following expression (A) for detecting the repetition (though M is an assumed number of repetitions, M is defined as an even number for leaving a DC component of the waveform F(x) after processing. α(N) is a coefficient defined by a user.).
