PURPOSE: A database construction method is provided to convert data, collected via a search engine or an information providing site, into an MIME(Multipurpose Internet Mail Extensions) type file, and to make a database by extracting a title, a summary and a corresponding URL for enabling a user to search for desired information in the database. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises several steps. A server searches for information by using a search engine or an information providing site(401), displays the search result(402), and stores the search result by pushing a right button of a mouse(403). The server selects automatic parsing fields like a URL, a title, or a summary(404), and converts the stored information into the MIME type file(405). The server stores the parsed data at a predesignated database(406) while attaching the converted MIME type file at a corresponding record(407). The unnecessary web document can be deleted.
