HIGH FREQUENCY WAVEGUIDE AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PURPOSE: To provide a high frequency waveguide of a photonic band crystal structure with a low transmission loss at a low cost. CONSTITUTION: A first dielectric wall 12 and a second dielectric wall 14 on which hollow aluminum cylinders 18 are respectively placed in a form of a layer in a way that the axial centers of the aluminum cylinders 18 have a planar triangle grating arrangement are opposed to each other in parallel via air 16a, metallic plates 20 each placed on each end face of the aluminum cylinders 18 configuring the first dielectric wall 12 and the second dielectric wall 14 are opposed to each other and the first dielectric wall 12 and the second dielectric wall 14 are adhered with the metallic plates 20 to configure the high frequency waveguide with a low radiation loss, a low transmission loss at a low cost.
