<p>The meatl sealing rim is formed from flat iron strip held by hook bolts on the side walls of the cast iron door from which it projects so as to seal on a suitable surface of the door frame, in which in place of the usual rectangular arrangement with 90 degrees corners, a section of each strip projecting towards the oven is cut off and the ends of adjacent strips are then joined by a connecting piece of the same cross section in the form of a quadrant of a circle, the strips as a whole retaining the generally rectangular shape.</p> |
