STRUCTURE FOR SADDLE EXIT PART OF DIAGONAL CABLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for the saddle exit part of a diagonal cable preventing concentration of bending stresses at a protective pipe, and allowing bending loads to be smoothly transmitted to an inner pipe. SOLUTION: The structure includes the inner pipe 4 positioned inside a main tower structure, and the diagonal cable 6 drawn out of the main tower structure through the inner pipe. Grout is packed between the inner pipe 4 and the diagonal cable 6. A slide pipe 80 is connected to the inner pipe 4 and the protective pipe 90 covering the diagonal cable 6 is connected to the slide pipe 80. The slide pipe 80 is formed thinner on its side connected to the protective pipe 90 than on its side connected to the inner pipe 4.
