PURPOSE: Provided are an aromatic polyamide polymer which shows increased solubility in polar organic solvents and forms an aromatic polyamide dope at milder condition than ever without decreasing of heat resistance and strength, a polymer dope, and a method for producing the same. CONSTITUTION: The polyamide polymer has a recurring unit of formula 1. The polyamide polymer is produced by reacting an aromatic diamine compound of formula 2 and an aromatic diacid compound of formula 3 in the presence of polymerization solvent selectively containing inorganic salt.
