PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspecting device which can check whether there is a residue in manufacturing a packaging container with a spout to sense failures in sealing due to impurities including the residue. SOLUTION: The residue inspecting device includes a support 1 for the inspecting device, both rod air cylinders 2 for pressing an object to be inspected from upward, and a metallic plate 4 for displacement quantity measurement, and it further includes a high precision digital displacement sensor 3 for measuring a distance between an upper end of both rod air cylinders 2 and the metallic plate 4.
