Database management system (200) comprises a memory (202) of a semantic topologic graph produced by means (206) for describing and recording data originating from a large amount of external data (201). The graph is created initially from a hypergraph and semantic function executed by the operating system. The graph is maintained by management means (207) that manage a relational database extracted from the graph. The operating system uses the semantic topologic graph to produce partial selections from the graph based on search requests.
