Nucleic acid (I) comprising regulatory sequences that allow expression of a polynucleotide (A) specifically in the endothelium and/or albumen of plant seeds, is new. (I) has at least 80 % identity with either a 2376 nucleotide sequence (S1), given in the specification, or a fragment of (S1) containing at least 200 nucleotides, is new. Independent claims are also included for: (1) nucleic acid (Ia) complementary to (I); (2) expression cassette (EC) containing (A) under control of (I); (3) recombinant cloning and/or expression vector containing (I) or EC; (4) host cell transformed with (I), EC or the vector of (3); (5) plants transformed with (I), EC or the vector of (3); (6) several methods for preparing transformed plants; and (7) plants produced by method (6), also their seeds, fruits and parts.
