摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate effective buffer depth for indicating the degree of distribution depth in the depth direction of gamma ray emitting nuclide which is distributed underground due to radiation contamination. SOLUTION: Gamma ray intensity per unit radioactivity is calculated from radiation and gamma ray intensity at an investigation point, and the effective buffer depth value at the investigation point is obtained by the interpolation method, taking into account the contribution of gamma rays to altitude from the ground from an underground index distribution assuming diversified energy and buffer depth, based on the calculated value.
