PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing pearl powder for use as a scrubbing agent is provided which has enhanced stability by skin absorption and a cosmetic effect as well as the function of scrubbing agents. CONSTITUTION: Pearl is processed into powder having a size corresponding to that of a scrubbing agent and then mixed with a cleansing agent. Therefore, particles of the pear powder are insoluble in the oil so that they remain as suspended scrubbing particles.
