PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle-collision testing apparatus by which the collision test of a vehicle can be executed with satisfactory accuracy, by a method where only a hook in a required minimum length is made to protrude on a running road surface, so as not to obstruct the running operation of the vehicle. SOLUTION: A traction device 16, a guide rail 26 which guides the traction device 16 to a barrier 13 and a braking device 18 are arranged in the lower part from the running road surface 12a on which the vehicle 11 is run; the width of the hook 31 attached to the traction device 16 is made smaller than the width of the guide rail; and the hook 31 is made to protrude to the upper part from the running road surface 12a.
