PURPOSE: A method for managing a subscriber data base in updating software in a mobile communication system is provided to update the software, store temporarily and process database of a subscriber with the minimum service interruption time when restarting and rebooting software and offer a user a service continuously. CONSTITUTION: A PMP(PSDN Management Processor) requests a target board to confirm a version of software(401). The target board responses to the request with the currently used version(402). If the current version is not equal to a version of software to be updated, the PMP requests the current resources information(403). The target board provides the current resources information related to all subscribers to the PMP(404). If the PMP requests software update, the target board responses to the software update request, and executes software update(405-407). The target board provides board active information to the PMP(408). The PMP recognizes that the board is in an active state, so that the PMP requests change of resources information(409). The target board changes resources information and notifies the change to the PMP(410-411). The target board provides board active termination information to a data base synchronizing board, updates the changed resources information, and updates related information from the data base synchronizing board(412-414). The target board executes normal services(415). |
