PURPOSE: An Internet modem and outlet using an existing house line as LAN(Local Area Network) is provided to use two PCs(Personal Computers) simultaneously in one house while sending calls or viewing a TV, and to facilitate the use of a video phone and other data terminals in the future, also to share a printer for LAN. CONSTITUTION: An existing house outlet, such as a telephone outlet or a cable TV outlet, firstly connected to an inlet part of a house line, for example, a house telephone line or a house cable line for cable TV broadcasting is substituted with an inlet outlet(1). Existing telephone or cable TV signals are passed using a characteristic of a filter built in the inlet outlet(1), and outdoor Internet network signals and house LAN signals are cut off with each other, thus using the house line as LAN directly. An Internet modem(3) providing a LAN control function is configured to both terminals of the filter of the inlet outlet(1), and remaining house outlets are substituted with terminal outlets(2a,2b,2n).
