PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope causing no severe repairing even if a balloon is damaged, and applying no pressure to the inside of a body cavity. SOLUTION: This endoscope 1 is constituted by incorporating the slender balloon 21 in the lengthwise shaft direction of a soft part 13. The balloon 21 is composed of an inner layer balloon 41, and an outer layer balloon 42. The inner layer balloon 41 is closed in a bag shape on this tip end side. The base end side of this inner layer balloon 41 airtightly and watertightly communicates with a pipe 22 by a heat welding part 43a. This inner layer balloon 41 is covered with the outer layer balloon 42 over this whole outer periphery. The outer layer balloon 42 is closed in a bag shape on this tip side. The base end side of this outer layer balloon 42 is watertightly and airtightly connected to the pipe 22 by a heat welding part 43b. Withstand pressure of the outer layer balloon 42 is formed higher than withstand pressure of the inner layer balloon 41.
