NETWORK HAVING LOGIC CHANNEL AND TRANSPORT CHANNEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network having an optimized selection process which selects a proper combination of transport formats. SOLUTION: In the network, a first logic channel group to which a second transport channel group is related is provided, and each transport channel is provided to transmit a transport block consisting of packet units of logic channels. The combination of many proper transport formats which designates a transport block to be transmitted on each transport channel is assigned to the transport channel, and a selection algorithm is provided which selects the combination of transport formats, and the combination of transport formats is selected while keeping the minimum bit rate applicable to each logic channel.
