PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording power control method and an optical disk device, by which uniform recording pits can be formed over the whole circumference even in a CAV recording system. SOLUTION: This recording power control method of the optical disk device, which can obtain a wobble clock signal corresponding to a meandering period of a guide groove formed on the optical disk 112 when the optical disk 112 is recorded by the CAV system, is constituted so that variable recording power set in accordance with a frequency of the wobble clock signal and specific fixed recording power set by a central processor of the optical disk 112 are composited and the composite power is used for the recording power of a pulse laser for irradiating the optical disk 112. |
