The mammography apparatus comprises a processing unit (124) by means of which the three-dimensional x-ray image information is compiled and three-dimensional impedance tomographic information is compiled, and by means of which processing unit the said x-ray image information and the said impedance tomographic information are combined three-dimensional breast tissue information to find suspicious parts in the breast tissue.
