PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable information device and a program which enable prevention of illegal use of electronic money that a 3rd person obtains from the portable information device having been lost or stolen. SOLUTION: The portable information device comprises a storage means storing use limit information data consisting of validity term information data on electronic money balance and use limit amount information on electronic money balance, device password code data, owner authentication information data, electronic money balance data, and use limit password code data and a means which rewrites the validity term information data and use limit amount information data on the electronic money balance by the input from an input means. |
