PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical head and disk device that can improve the data transfer rate in a small size and high in recording density. SOLUTION: The laser beam 3 from a semiconductor laser 2 is made a parallel beam 5 by a collimator lens 4 and enters the 1st surface 6a of the transparent condensing medium 6. The laser beam 5 entering the 1st surface 6a is reflected on the reflector film 7 formed on the outer surface of the 2nd surface 6b and focused on the 3rd surface 6c to form a light spot 9. Light focused in the light spot 9 leaks out as a near field light and transmitted to the recording medium 8 for optical recording or reproduction. |
