PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an identify confirming method, with which the verification of identity can be completed by only a single medium, without having to request a connection with another device and further, the exact identity confirmation can be performed without storing information to be inputted for identity confirmation on the medium, as it is. SOLUTION: First data for collation and a user ID are read from a medium 1 recording the first data for collation and the user ID, which can be provided by processing the data stream of the user ID and a password number by a hash function and with respect to the data stream of the read user ID and the inputted password number, second data for collation are calculated by the same hash function. Then, the second data for collation are collated with the first data for collation, so that identity verification can be made. |
