<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a priority buffer controller which realizes simply a state that cells are stored in a cell storing means and tests readout control. SOLUTION: After a priority buffer controller 11 is set to a test mode by a test mode setting part 18, and a cell existence confirmation part 19 has confirmed that no cell exists, a readout of a cell readout transmission part 15 is stopped. A test cell transmission part 17 transmits a predetermined number of lower priority cells, and consecutively transmits a predetermined number of higher priority cells. After these cells have been stored in a lower priority buffer 13 or a higher priority buffer 12, respectively, the cell readout transmission part 15 starts a readout of the cells. A test cell reception part 16 stores sequentially these cells, and a test cell confirmation part 22 confirms each priority. A readout control test determination part 23 determines that readout control is normal when the higher priority cell is read out prior to the lower priority cell.</p> |
