An industrial control based on several peripheral units (PE1-PE6) each of the latter having a peripheral transmit/receive unit (SE1-SE6) with at least two radio (RF) units (FE1-FE4) assigned to the central control unit (ZST) and whose antennas (ZA1-ZA4) have a different spatial setting and/or orientation. The data traffic between the peripheral units and the central control unit results via RF interfaces between the transmit/receive units and the radio (RF) units. The RF system has a protocol which allows traffic mutually between the radio (RF) units (FE1-FE4) and access to the radio units is regulated by a protocol element.
