PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical recording system lowering energy (laser power) required or recording, accelerating a recording speed to improve productivity by elevating effective recording sensitivity in the recording of image information to a photosensitive material. SOLUTION: The optical recording system is provided with an optical recording medium for which a layer including the photosensitive material recording images by irradiation with a light beam is formed on a base material and the thickness of a photosensitive layer formed of the layer including the photosensitive material is 15 nm or less, a light source successively outputting pulse light whose duty is 50% or less, a modulation means modulating the pulse light outputted from the light source and irradiating the layer including the photosensitive material with the pulse light and a scanning means for recording the images by scanning the layer including the photosensitive material with the pulse light. |
