<p>An agricultural harvesting machine (10) comprises crop processing means (16) and an elevator assembly (23) for conveying harvested crop material to said crop processing means (16). The elevator assembly comprises an elevator housing (50) and elevator means mounted in said housing (50) and comprising at least two flexible endless members (66) and a plurality of slats (68) mounted transversely to said flexible members (66). The slats (68) have an S-shaped cross section. This shape provides additional strength to the slats, while reducing the chance of damage to the crop conveyed by these slats.</p> |
