PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection circuit for protecting a MOSFET separation switch in a MOSFET switch type power supply system when one fault is generated in one of power supplies where plural power supplies are connected in parallel. SOLUTION: The active protection circuit (160) in a MOSFET separation switch type power supply system (100) including first and second power supplies (112) and (114) comprises a circuit for monitoring the first power supply output voltage (120) of the first power supply, and controllers (162, 156, and 196 in Figure 2) that turn off the first separation switch to reject current flow, and turn on the second separation switch to allow current to flow from the second power supply.
