PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment which can simplify its assembling steps to realize a low manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: An upper circuit substrate 3 and a lower circuit substrate 4 are integrated with a divider plate 2 provided to previously form a unit of the divider plate and circuit substrates 3 and 4, under whose condition the substrates 3 and 4 are connected by means of a connector. And on an assembling main line, the unit is inserted into a chassis base 7 from its upper opening, the divider plate 2 is mounted at the center of the interior of the chassis base 7, a driving mechanism 5 is mounted on the upper substrate 3, and further a front panel 6 having a liquid crystal display 13 is mounted on a side surface of the chassis base 7 to obtain complete electronic equipment to be mounted on a car.
