<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylindrical image spherical image control device which uses roll angle conversion output as virtual yaw rate. SOLUTION: In a cylindrical image spherical image control device for observing a cylindrical image or a spherical image by inputting an image signal generated by an image generator 4 into a head mounted display 5, pitch anglesθof the inclination angles of a head part H in the front and in the backward direction is detected, roll anglesϕof the inclination angles of the head part H in left and right direction is detected. The detected roll angleϕis converted in yaw ratesωcorresponding to rotation angle speed of the head part H in a horizontal plane and is outputted; and the yaw rateωis integrated and outputted as yaw anglesψof rotation angles about the yaw axis, indication angle of an image is computed, based on the pitch anglesθand the yaw anglesψto observe image in optional direction.</p> |
