PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate transfer member which makes it possible to stably obtain good images for a long period of time with a simple structure and an intermediate transfer device including this intermediate transfer member. SOLUTION: This intermediate transfer member 20 which has a cylindrical substrate 21 and a surface layer 22 formed on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical substrate 21, and which is disposed between an image forming body 1 and a recording medium 24, transfers and holds the toner image formed on the surface of the image forming body 1 once on its own surface and transfers this image to the recording medium 24, is characterized in that the substrate 21 described above is formed of a conductive resin composition containing a polyamide resin obtainable from methaxylene diamine and adipic acid and/or a polyamide resin obtainable fromεcaprolactam as a resin component and contains a conducting agent.
