<p>The invention relates to a urea-based nitrogenous fertilizer, characterized in that it comprises urea particles and zeolite powder forms a protective coating layer around the urea particles. The fertilizer of the invention permits a gradual supply of nitrates to the soil over time which solves the probkem of loss of nitrogenous nutrients from the soil due to leaching phenomena and to the reduction of the nitrates to gaseous nitrogen.</p> |
