<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dispense with or remarkably reduce a high, cost high molecular coagulant, sharply reduce a processing cost at a conventional dehydrating process, and besides maintain the moisture content of dewatering cake at a value below a natural level, and eliminate a need for a use of auxiliary fuel inevitable to a conventional incinerating process, and further to resource recovery and effective utilization of resources. SOLUTION: A sludge treatment method comprises a dehydration process 5 where a water absorption substance 11 consisting mainly of a temperature- sensitive water absorptive high molecule and sludge 1 are brought into contact with each other to dehydrate sludge 1; an incinerating process 8 wherein a sludge cake 6 obtained by dehydration at the dehydrating process 5 is burnt; and a water absorbing substance regenerating process 12 to separate a water content from the water absorbing substance 11 absorbing water at the dehydrating process 5.</p> |
