THERMAL DECOMPOSITION TREATING METHOD FOR POULTRY MANURE, AND SPECIAL FERTILIZER USING ITS RESIDUE, AND SOIL IMPROVING AGENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To treat poultry manure, being one of big problems of a poultry industry, at a low cost by a method to prevent a load from being applied on environment, and to provide a method to effectively utilize products of the treatment. SOLUTION: A thermal decomposition treatment method of poultry manure comprises the steps of heating poultry manure at a temperature from 300 to 800 deg.C in an atmosphere where a feed of air is limited to thermally decompose the poultry manure, collecting thermal decomposition gas generated by thermal decomposition of the poultry manure and use the collected thermal decomposition gas as fuel to heat the poultry manure. A special fertilizer and/or a soil improving agent containing the thermal decomposition residue produced by heating poultry manure and thermal decomposition is provided.
