PURPOSE: An air bag for a vehicle is provided to protect a driver's face from an injury such as a skin-deep wound or a burn owing to a high speed expansion of the air bag by separating the face of the driver from the air bag without contacting directly to the air bag. CONSTITUTION: An air bag comprises a plurality of air bag mini cell(30) and an air bag string(40). The air bag mini cell(30) is protruded at a front side of the air bag in a certain volume, and the air bag string(40) is extended from a leading end of the air bag mini cell, respectively. The air bag mini cell is formed by extending intentionally a body of the air bag. The air bag mini cell is distributed uniformly over an entire dimension of the air bag. The air bag string(40) is composed of a bundle string of a soft material. The air bag string is attached integrally at the leading end of the air bag mini cell by an adhesive.
