PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microscopic system which makes it possible to easily obtain an optimum magnification when a specimen is observed. SOLUTION: This microscopic system has objective lenses (31 and 32), an imaging element 20 which picks up the images of the specimen 11 formed by the objective lenses and outputs image signals, setting means 27 which sets the electron zoom magnification when the imaging element outputs the image signals and regulating means 29 which regulates the magnification of the specimen images indicated by the image signals from the imaging element on the basis of the magnification of the objective lenses and the electron zoom magnification.
