PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out proper inspection by certainly fractionizing and recognizing a separator and a pole plate in inspecting a pole plate group constituted by layering a negative pole plate and a positive pole plate through the separator. SOLUTION: This device is furnished with positioning pins 6a, 6b, 7a and 7b arranged to pass through one side end parts of the pole plates 2, 3, lighting means 9, 10 to function as members for discrimination by forming dark color parts on the positioning pins 6a, 6b, 7a and 7b by applying illuminating light toward both side end surfaces of the pole plate group 1 from the diagonal direction, picture image recognition means 11, 12 to recognize the side end surfaces of the pole plate group 1 in picture images and a picture image processing means 13 to inspect the number of the pole plates by discriminating contrast of the dark color parts and one side end edges of the pole plates along the longitudinal direction of the member for discrimination, and it is devised to inspect the number of the pole plates 2, 3 by discriminating the contrast of the dark color parts and the one end edges of the pole plates 2, 3 along the longitudinal direction of the member for discrimination. |
