PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a shield wire with no flat edges formed at both side ends, and a manufacturing device to be used therein. SOLUTION: The method comprises using a molding tool 20, which has a pair of molding rollers 21, 21 arranged in parallel at a predetermined line-to-line pitche and arranged at both sides of the parallel faces of a signal wire and a drain wire to be moved in the longitudinal direction for holding the signal wire and the drain wire at both sides of their parallel faces in a shield tape and molding pipes 22, 23 arranged at both sides of the pair of molding rollers 21, 21 with slits 22a, 23a in the longitudinal direction for molding the shield tape at both side ends to be moved in the longitudinal direction, for holding the signal wire and the drain wire at both sides of their parallel faces in the shield tape and then covering them with a sheath.
