PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skinpass rolling method for hot dip galvanized steel strips, by which the deposion of zinc or the like on a rolling roll is suppressed and also a surface strain caused by tempering liquid is prevented. SOLUTION: When the skinpass rolling of the hot dip galvanized steel strip is performed, the tempering liquid is jetted to a roll bite on the inlet side of the rolling roll, also washing water is jetted to the surface and back faces of the hot dip galvanized steel strip after rolling, then the washing water on the surface and back faces is removed.
