PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet recording method and a recording device capable of recording a high definition image by preventing partial fluctuations of a recording density in a recording image. SOLUTION: In a recording head having a plurality of ejection ports for discharging ink liquid drops or windbreak liquid drops aligned in one line or in plural lines, windbreak liquid drops are made to be discharged from at least one end ejection port (an S first windbreak liquid drop nozzle, an S second windbreak liquid drop nozzle) disposed at the end part of each line from among the ejection ports aligned in a line or plural lines, then ink is discharged from the ink ejection port disposed at the inside from the end ejection ports, so that the shifting of the ink liquid drop hitting position discharged from the outermost ink discharging ports is reduced.
