PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming and recording medium, in which a thermal transfer sheet having high image quality and excellent image preservability or the like are employed so as to obtain the print of an photograph or the like image, on the rear surface of which characters or the like can be printed with a low cost ink jet printer or the like in order to realize a technique suitable for post-card-printing such as a small number of sheets of New Year's card and by which a printed matter having a durability more excellent than ever, and an image forming method and an image recording device. SOLUTION: In this image forming and recording medium, at least one image receiving layer including a dye fixing body capable of forming a dye by the reaction with a thermally diffusible dye precursor is provided on one side of a support, on the other side of which an ink jet image receiving layer is provided. |
