1281683 Coated paper IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 29 Sept 1969 [4 July 1968] 31926/68 Heading B2E [Also in Divisions C1 C3 and D2] Paper is provided with an electrically conductive layer by applying to the surface from aqueous solution a coating of a homo- or copolymer of a compound of the formula where x is an anion of valency n, one of R<SP>1</SP> and R<SP>2</SP> is H and the other is H or CH 3 , and R is alkyl. The coating can be applied by dipping, brushing, calendering or with a wire-wound rod. The product can be used for electrographic copying or printing.
