plastic metal working in metallurgical, machine engineering and building plants for making gauze products. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes uncoiler, guiding roller, stoppers of gauze web along its height having tensioning rollers, pullers and strippers; rotary low-wall sleeve-shaped discs with hooks; drive unit of apparatus; units for cutting and coiling wholly metallic gauze. Drive unit of apparatus includes members for lengthwise motion of tensioned gauze web arranged between horizontal portion of flexible endless belt embracing pulleys and rotary pressure rollers. Said disc with hooks are not driving ones; they are arranged between drive unit and guiding roller. Design of apparatus and arrangement of its units allow to make gauze products in the form of cards and coils or immediately after making to use ready gauze as lining material for mineral-wool mats at sewing them. In such case tensioning apparatus is placed directly in line of sewing machine; one conveyer of said machine is used as drive unit. EFFECT: simplified design, high-speed continuous tensioning of coiled cut-through blank, enlarged using range of gauze, reduced metal consumption for making gauze, its lowered cost. 10 cl, 19 dwg
