SUPERCONDUCTING SINGLE FLUXOID QUANTUM CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comparator circuit employing a single fluxoid quantum that realizes supply of a high-speed sampling signal independently of the quantity of an input signal and a sensitive switching characteristic at the same time. SOLUTION: This invention provides the comparator circuit where a buffer circuit configured with a Josephson junction and an inductor is connected to an input output section of the comparator circuit. Thus, an ultrahigh speed sampling reaching 100 GHz and a very sharp switching characteristic with a gray zone of 0.01 mA can be realized.
