PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a carrier wave regeneration circuit which can realize characteristics of better error rate than in the conventional case, in a quadrature amplitude modulation. SOLUTION: This carrier wave regenerating circuit splits, for example, the signal field in order to identify a signal point located on an axis having 45 degree relation with I, Q axis on I-Q plane from other signal points. The configuration is equipped with a signal field decision part 170 for deciding the signal field which the signal point of received signal belongs to, a signal control part 171 which rotates a phase of the signal point of the received signal in the relation of 45 degree with I, Q axis, when the signal point is decided as not belonging to the signal field applied to the signal point on the axis having 45 degree relation with I and Q axis, phase error computing part 172 which computes a phase error signal, using an output signal of the signal control part 171, and a loop filter part 18 and a digital VCO part 19 which regenerates the carrier wave signal, using the phase error signal. |
